NRIs are required to submit the following:
Overseas bank account statements for the last six months, showing salary credits and savings.
Indian bank account statements (if applicable).
Loan account statements for the previous year, if they have existing loans with other lenders.
Salaried NRIs must provide the following documents:
A valid work permit.
An employment contract (to be translated and attested if not in English).
Salary slips for the last three months.
Bank statements for the last six months, showing salary credits.
The latest salary certificate and an employer-issued identity card.
An acknowledged copy of last year’s Individual Tax Return (not required for NRIs in the Middle East or Merchant Navy employees).
Non-salaried NRIs must submit the following:
Proof of business address.
Proof of income for self-employed professionals or business owners.
Audited or CA-certified Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss accounts for the last two years.
Individual Tax Return for the last two years (not required for NRIs in the Middle East).
Bank statements for the last six months for both personal and business accounts.
